I have my Portuguese exam in about an hour and ten minutes. In that time, I have to finish my Port. paper (about 2 more pages) and study for my exam. I just found out that my exam was today on Monday. I don't think it's very fair. It's a final, shouldn't we have more time to study?? I also just found out what is on the exam last night. Sigh... I think I may have to beg my teacher to let me turn in the paper tonight by email, or in her mailbox.
I really want to start writing on here more, but I occasionally forget I have Xanga, because I use Blogspot usually. But, I like the format of xanga better. Decisions, decisions. Okay, I must go continue writing about Os Ilhas Açores, also known as the Azores Islands. Fantastic topic, but it's hard for me to write in Portuguese... I can speak it, understand it, and read it; it's the writing I have a problem with.

Oh and what I'm listening to right now is fantastic... it's didgeredoo ( I spelled that horribly, I know) and 12 string guitar. Fantastic.

Yeah so I should be writing a paper, but we all know how that goes.
this is my first entry into my Xanga page. I may not write in it as much as I'd like to, but hey it's a start. I'm going to go finish my paper, but as a piece of good news, which we all need once in awhile, I am going to Portugal in January/February of 2009. More accurately, I am going to the island of Faial in the Azores for probably 2 weeks, then to Northern Portugal for another 2 weeks. This has been my dream for a long time, and since I now speak Portuguese much better than when I went in 2005, I am going to live with a Azorian family, and get to know the language and the culture even better. I look forward to learning about my Portuguese heritage, and possibly even find some Azorian relatives of mine. I am so, so excited.
I will write more when I have time.
